CSK vs DC Dream11 Prediction Possible 11 Pitch Report – IPL 2025 17th Match

Chennai Super Kings (CSK), who are coming off two consecutive defeats, face the unbeaten Delhi Capitals (DC) in the important 17th match of IPL 2025. CSK currently sit in eighth place on the table, and while it is still early days, they wouldn’t want to fall too far behind the pack.

The priorities for CSK are team balance and getting the best out of their top players. Ravindra Jadeja and R Ashwin are yet to fire, while Shivam Dube has shown glimpses. Ruturaj Gaikwad and Rachin Ravindra have been CSK’s key run-scorers, but it’s time others step up.

With the ball, CSK have been steady, with Noor Ahmad and Khaleel Ahmed the two big positives. Ruturaj Gaikwad’s team need a team effort with the ball as DC have started the season very well.

After pulling off a heist against Lucknow Super Giants, DC thrashed Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in a clinical display last weekend. The victory was set up by Mitchell Starc up top, and if he can have a similar impact here, CSK’s fragile middle order will be exposed.

With the bat, Faf du Plessis proves that age is just a number, while Abishek Porel, Tristan Stubbs and even KL Rahul looked good. With the likes of Vipraj Nigam and Ashutosh Sharma as finishers, a strong platform will put CSK under pressure at the death.

In this article, we will look at the possible XIIs, Chepauk pitch report, fantasy cricket tips and Dream11 prediction for the 17th match of IPL 2025.

IPL 2025 17th Match: CSK vs DC Possible Playing XIIs

CSK could look to bring Devon Conway into the team. However, Jamie Overton provides CSK with a power-hitting option in the middle, so they face a tricky decision.

Rahul Tripathi has struggled so far this season and could be dropped. However, Gaikwad is under an injury cloud after picking up an elbow injury against the Royals. If Gaikwad is out, MS Dhoni could captain the team.

Chennai Super Kings: 1. Ruturaj Gaikwad/Rahul Tripathi, 2. Devon Conway (OS), 3. Rachin Ravindra (OS), 4. Shivam Dube, 5. Vijay Shankar, 6. Ravindra Jadeja, 7. MS Dhoni (wk), 8. R Ashwin/Anshul Kamboj, 9. Noor Ahmad, 10. Khaleel Ahmed, 11. Matheesha Pathirana (OS), 12. Shaik Rasheed/Deepak Hooda (impact)

DC look settled. They could stick with the same team that beat SRH.

Delhi Capitals: 1. Jake Fraser-McGurk (OS), 2. Faf du Plessis (OS), 3. Abishek Porel, 4. KL Rahul (wk), 5. Tristan Stubbs (OS), 6. Axar Patel (c), 7. Vipraj Nigam, 8. Mitchell Starc (OS), 9. Kuldeep Yadav, 10. Mohit Sharma, 11. Mukesh Kumar, 12. Ashutosh Sharma (impact)

MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chepauk, Chennai Pitch Report and Weather

A hot and humid afternoon is forecast in this match, which could make batting first a worthwhile option. Spin and cutters played an important role in both games at Chepauk so far, and could do so here again. A score around 180-190 could be a winning one with no dew factor.

Fantasy Cricket Tips for CSK vs DC: Top Picks/Key Players to Watch

Top wicket-keeper picks:

  • KL Rahul has a fine record against CSK: 14 inns, 553 runs, avg. 42.54, SR 141.79.

Key batter picks:

  • In all T20s since the start of 2024, Faf du Plessis has scored 1,867 runs at an average of 34.6 and strike rate of 153.5. He scored 50 (27) in his most recent innings vs SRH.
  • In five matches against CSK, du Plessis has scored 197 runs at an average of 39.40 and strike rate of 156.35. In his head-to-head matchup against Jadeja in the IPL, du Plessis has scored 46 runs off 26 balls without dismissal.
  • If fit, Ruturaj Gaikwad is a must-pick in Dream11. He is CSK’s leading run-scorer this season (116). Gaikwad is also seeking to build on his record vs DC: 8 inns, 238 runs, avg. 29.75, SR 129.35.
  • Rachin Ravindra has been one of CSK’s best this season. He has made scores of 65* and 41 at Chepauk in IPL 2025.

Top all-rounder picks:

  • Axar Patel is yet to take a wicket in this tournament, but he has a good record at Chepauk (5 matches, 8 wickets, avg. 18.88, SR 14.25). Also, he could get an opportunity to bat, especially if DC bat first.
  • Ravindra Jadeja is also searching for his best form. But, he has a good record against DC, with 250 runs (avg. 35.71, SR 148.81) and 18 wickets (econ. 7.70) against them.

Key bowler picks:

  • Noor Ahmad is currently the top wicket-taker in IPL 2025 (9). He has taken seven wickets in two matches at Chepauk this season.
  • Mitchell Starc is in wicket-taking form and could be a factor against CSK’s shaky middle-lower order. He may even find some reverse swing at the backend of the innings in this day game.
  • Kuldeep Yadav has taken just three wickets in eight games against CSK. But, the spinner is in fine form with five wickets in two matches so far this season.

Other Players to Consider for your Fantasy Cricket Teams

  • Khaleel Ahmed has picked up six wickets in three matches so far in IPL 2025. He will be sure to test Jake Fraser-McGurk especially.
  • Abishek Porel looked in good touch in the last game and bats in the top order.
  • Shivam Dube is CSK’s important spin-hitter. He has looked threatening without making a score yet in this tournament.
  • Matheesha Pathirana bowls plenty of overs at the death, which brings wicket-taking opportunities. In fact, Pathirana has taken eight wickets in three games against DC.

Other Stats and Important Matchups

  • Head-to-head: Matches 30, CSK 19, DC 11.
  • CSK lead 7-2 against DC at Chepauk.

  • Khaleel Ahmed vs Faf du Plessis in the IPL: 51 balls, 68 runs, one wicket.
  • R Ashwin vs Faf du Plessis in all T20s: 85 balls, 94 runs, three wickets.

KKR vs SRH Twitter Reactions 2025 – “Masterclass in destruction”

Just like in 2024, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) have thrashed Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in IPL 2025, sparking widespread reactions. KKR found themselves in early trouble after Quinton de Kock and Sunil Narine were out cheaply, but they totally dominated thereafter.

Ajinkya Rahane (38 off 27) and Angrish Raghuvanshi (50 off 32) led a recovery. Both were dismissed in quick succession in the 11th and 13th overs, giving SRH an avenue back in the contest. However, SRH’s bowling, which has lacked control and threat so far this season, failed to capitalise, with Venkatesh Iyer (60 off 29) and Rinku Singh (32* off 17) putting away some poor death bowling.

At the halfway mark, 200 seemed plenty on a surface offering some grip. Strangely, SRH opted to bowl just four overs of spin, especially when you consider the tweakers took combined figures of 2/29.

“The messages that they [Ajinkya Rahane and Raghuvanshi] sent during the time-out, they made us understand that it’s not an easy pitch to just go out there and hit. You have to take your time,” Venkatesh said to reporters, as quoted by ESPNcricinfo. “Ball was sticking a little, it was turning.”

With the bat, SRH had no intentions of having a look first. KKR’s attack is too good for such an approach, with all bowlers enjoying success in the franchise’s fifth-straight win against SRH. Spinners Sunil Narine and Varun Chakravarthy were difficult to get away, with man of the match Vaibhav Arora (3/29) delivering in spades after dismissing Travis Head second ball.

KKR vs SRH Twitter Reactions: Kolkata win fifth-straight match against Hyderabad

SRH criticised for poor all-round show

SRH were terrible. They bowled and fielded poorly, and backed it up with another disappointing batting display where they were chasing their tails from the first few overs.

SRH find themselves in a confusing predicament. Going hard is their mantra and why they enjoyed a run to the final last season. However, they are struggling to find a balance. It feels like every ball must go for a four or six.

After three straight heavy losses in IPL 2025, SRH need to get their act together as a playoffs’ berth will slip away sooner rather than later.

Here are some reactions to SRH’s predicament.

Tactics and Cummins questioned as SRH focus on pace

SRH bowling just four overs of spin came in for criticism. They brought Kamindu Mendis into the XI instead of Adam Zampa or Wiaan Mulder, and the move paid immediate dividends as the Sri Lankan dismissed Angkrish Raghuvanshi.

Mendis, who can bowl with both arms, should be a big asset for SRH on a pitch offering assistance for the spinners. Instead, Cummins didn’t use him until the 13th over. Worse, he bowled just the one over.

Raghuvanshi, Venkatesh, Rahane and Rinku deliver for KKR before bowlers dismantle SRH

It was a great all-round show by KKR, who bounced back nicely after the thrashing in Mumbai a few nights ago. After a strong showing by the middle order, all five bowlers took at least one wicket, including 3/29 by Arora who set things up in the powerplay along with Harshit Rana.

Next up for SRH is a home game against in the in-form Gujarat Titans (GT) on Sunday. GT have won two straight matches and are on a high after beating Royal Challengers Bengaluru away at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium.

KKR will be looking to build on this win when they take on Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) at Eden Gardens on Tuesday afternoon.

LSG vs MI Dream11 Prediction Possible 11 Pitch Report – IPL 2025 16th Match

Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) will come up against Mumbai Indians (MI) in the 16th match of IPL 2025. Both sides have lost two games and won one. Hence, this shapes up as an important game at the Ekana Stadium in Lucknow.

Lucknow Super Giants lost their last game against the Punjab Kings by eight wickets. Their batters failed to get going except Nicholas Pooran (44 runs) and they felt the absence of a strong pace attack. Rishabh Pant and Ravi Bishnoi’s poor form continues which is a big concern for them.

Shardul Thakur failed to pick wickets with the new ball and LSG never managed to get back into the game. Digvesh Singh picked up two wickets. The likes of Aiden Markram, David Miller and Pant must step up for LSG to do well.

On the other hand, Mumbai Indians registered their first of the season in their last game as they defeated KKR quite convincingly by eight wickets. The bowlers laid the foundation and then Ryan Rickelton (62* runs) and Suryakumar Yadav (27* runs) chased down the target easily.

Rickleton and Surya’s form is a big boost for MI although Rohit’s poor form is a concern. Will Jacks too hasn’t looked very comfortable with the bat in the two games he’s played.
Trent Boult, Deepak Chahar and Hardik Pandya have been in good form with the ball and Ashwani Kumar’s (4 wickets against KKR) inclusion will bolster their bowling. Mitchell Santner and Vignesh Puthur are doing well in the spin department. Overall, MI looks like a very balanced side coming into this game.

IPL 2025 16th Match: LSG vs MI Possible Playing XIIs

LSG is expected to be unchanged for this game.

Lucknow Super Giants:  1. Aiden Markram (OS), 2. Mitchell Marsh (OS), 3. Nicholas Pooran (OS), 4. Rishabh Pant (c & wk), 5. Ayush Badoni, 6. David Miller (OS), 7. Abdul Samad, 8. Shardul Thakur, 9. Digvesh Singh Rathi, 10. Avesh Khan, 11. Ravi Bishnoi, Manimaran Siddharth (Impact)

Mumbai Indias are expected to unchanged as well.

Mumbai Indians: 1. Rohit Sharma, 2. Ryan Rickelton (OS, wk), 3. Will Jacks (OS), 4. Suryakumar Yadav, 5. Tilak Varma, 6. Hardik Pandya (c), 7. Naman Dhir, 8. Mitchell Santner (OS), 9. Deepak Chahar, 10. Trent Boult (OS), 11. Ashwani Kumar, 12. Vignesh Puthur (Impact)

Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium Pitch Report and Weather

There was some movement for the pacers with the new ball in the last game played here. It got better for batting as the game progressed with some assistance for the spinners as well. There are chances that the pitch for this game might be on the slower side after Zaheer Khan’s statement after the LSG-PBKS match.

If it’s the same wicket, then scores of 170-190 are expected. Teams are expected to chase if they win the toss.

The weather will be clear with no chance of rain. The temperature will be around 34 degrees Celsius at the start of the match. There was no dew in the last game played here.

Fantasy Cricket Tips for LSG vs MI: Players to Watch/Key Stats

Note: Try to pick more batters and all-rounders if you are playing on Dream11. The new point system rewards the batters heavily.

Top Wicket-Keeper Picks:

  • Nicholas Pooran is currently the highest run-scorer this season with 189 runs in three games at an average of 63 and strike rate of 219.77 with two fifties. He will be a key batter for his side and fancy his chances against Mumbai’s bowling unit.
  • Ryan Rickelton scored his maiden IPL fifty in the last game. Lucknow’s new ball attack is not that great and he will be in for another good outing if he can get past Digvesh Singh’s mystery spin.

Key batter picks:

  • Suryakumar Yadav has 94 runs in six innings against LSG at an average of 15.70 and his highest score is 37. But SKY has looked in sublime touch in the last two games and will be a must in your fantasy teams.
  • Rohit Sharma is going through a lean phase with the bat and he will be eager to do well in this game. Lucknow lacks good powerplay bowling and Rohit can score crucial 25-30 runs in this game. He averages 27.50 against LSG for his 165 runs including a fifty.

Top all-rounder picks:

  • Hardik Pandya will bowl 2-3 overs and will contribute with the bat as well. He has been in good form with the ball in the two games and his batting form was good in international cricket ahead of the IPL. Pandya will be a good C/VC option, especially while bowling first.
  • Will Jacks may face some issues against LSG’s spin attack but he’s expected to bowl a few overs in this game. Jacks will bat at 3 and is a good fantasy pick.

Key bowler picks:

  • Trent Boult has 8 wickets in 5 innings against LSG. He will be a threat for both LSG openers and there was some help with the new ball at Ekana in the last game.
  • Avesh Khan has 10 wickets in 5 innings against MI. He will bowl the key overs for LSG and can be the game-changer in fantasy cricket, especially while bowling first.
  • Ashwani Kumar was brilliant for MI on his debut. He picked up 4 wickets against KKR. He bowled at a good pace and can trouble LSG’s batting unit in this game. Ashwani will be a good fantasy pick as well.

Other Players to Consider for Your Fantasy Cricket Team

  • Mitchell Marsh has 38 runs in 2 innings against MI. He will be vulnerable against Trent Boult, Deepak Chahar and Ashwani Kumar. You can take the risk of dropping him on apps with the old points system.
  • Rishabh Pant’s selection in fantasy cricket has gone down significantly after his abysmal performance in the first three games. He has had his struggles against Jasprit Bumrah but since he’s not fit, Pant will be a top differential in his absence.
  • Ravi Bishnoi has 12 wickets in 10 innings against MI. His current form is terrible but he has got the better of Rohit Sharma and Suryakumar Yadav in the past. Bishnoi will be a good fantasy pick, especially if the wicket is on the slower side.
  • Tilak Varma
  • Vignesh Puthur
  • David Miller
  • Digvesh Singh
  • Ayush Badoni
  • Abdul Samad

Other Matchups and Facts

  • Head to Head: Matches 6, LSG 5, MI 1.
  • Rohit Sharma vs Ravi Bishnoi: 37 deliveries, 46 runs, 3 dismissals.
  • Rohit Sharma vs Avesh Khan: 13 deliveries, 11 runs, 2 dismissals.
  • Suryakumar Yadav vs Ravi Bishnoi: 32 deliveries, 39 runs, 3 dismissals.
  • Hardik Pandya vs Avesh Khan: 29 deliveries, 17 runs, 3 dismissals.
  • Ayush Badoni vs Trent Boult: 10 deliveries, 5 runs, 2 dismissals.

IPL 2025 16th Match: LSG vs MI Match Prediction – Who will win?

Lucknow Super Giants are over-dependent on their top order, especially Nicholas Pooran and Mitchell Marsh to do the bulk of the scoring. They also lack a good new ball attack and Ravi Bishnoi’s form further worsens things for them. Apart from Rohit’s form, everything looks good for the Mumbai Indians. Mumbai Indians to win.

KKR vs SRH Dream11 Prediction Possible 11 Pitch Report – IPL 2025 15th Match

The 15th match of IPL 2025 sees last year’s finalists go head-to-head. Both will be seeking their best form after an indifferent start to the season, with Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) each losing two of their first three games.

Worryingly, both teams have been smashed in their two defeats. KKR lost heavily to RCB and MI, with their batting at the Wankhede leaving a lot to be desired. SRH were beaten convincingly by LSG and DC after smashing 286 in their opening game against RR.

KKR will be looking for a big response from the likes of Sunil Narine, Venkatesh Iyer, Rinku Singh, and Andre Russell. Quinton de Kock, Ajinkya Rahane, and Angrish Raghuvanshi have shown glimpses of their best this season. A batting and bowling performance as a unit will be key against SRH’s strong lineup.

That being said, SRH are also searching for their best cricket. Abhishek Sharma has not got going yet, and Ishan Kishan has missed out twice since his hundred against RR. With Aniket Verma playing so well in the middle order, a strong platform by the top order can hold SRH in good stead.

However, SRH need more from their bowling attack, who have travelled so far in IPL 2025. Mohammed Shami is key upfront, who can set things up for Pat Cummins, Harshal Patel and the impressive Zeeshan Ansari to do their thing.

In this article, we will look at the possible playing XIIs, Eden Gardens Kolkata pitch report, fantasy cricket tips and Dream11 Prediction for the 15th match of IPL 2025.

IPL 2025 15th Match: KKR vs SRH Possible Playing XIIs

KKR brought in Manish Pandey as their impact player against MI as they lost regular wickets batting first. If all goes to plan, Vaibhav Arora is likely to be the impact player here.

Kolkata Knight Riders: 1. Sunil Narine (OS), 2. Quinton de Kock (OS, wk), 3. Ajinkya Rahane (c), 4. Venkatesh Iyer, 5. Angkrish Raghuvanshi, 6. Rinku Singh, 7. Andre Russell (OS), 8. Ramandeep Singh, 9. Harshit Rana, 10. Spencer Johnson (OS), 11. Varun Chakravarthy, 12. Vaibhav Arora

SRH will have a call to make between Adam Zampa and Zeeshan Ansri. That decision will influence whether Simarjeet Singh or Wiaan Mulder plays.

Sunrisers Hyderabad: 1. Travis Head (OS), 2. Abhishek Sharma, 3. Ishan Kishan, 4. Nitish Kumar Reddy, 5. Heinrich Klaasen (OS, wk), 6. Aniket Verma, 7. Abhinav Manohar, 8. Pat Cummins (OS, c), 9. Wiaan Mulder/Adam Zampa (OS), 10. Harshal Patel, 11. Mohammed Shami, 12. Simarjeet Singh/Zeeshan Ansari

Eden Gardens Kolkata Pitch Report and Weather

The Eden Gardens track has been in the news in the past week. After KKR were beaten easily by RCB in the tournament opener, Ajinkya Rahane called for slower pitches that could aid the spinners. According to ESPNcricinfo, the pitches prepared for this game have very little grass on them.

The average first innings score on this ground last season was 197.86 at a run rate of 10.18. The chasing team won four of the seven games.

A very hot evening is forecast with a top of around 33 degrees at 7:30pm local time. Dew is likely in the second innings.

Fantasy Cricket Tips for KKR vs SRH – Top Picks/Key Players to Watch

Top wicket-keeper picks:

  • Quinton de Kock can make a big score if he gets through the Shami test. He hit 97* two games ago and has scored 69 runs in 36 balls (one wicket) in all T20s against Pat Cummins and 85 runs off 60 balls (no wickets) in all T20s against Harshal Patel.
  • Since the start of 2023, Heinrich Klaasen has scored 163 runs against KKR at an average of 40.75 and strike rate of 175.27. Klaasen has struck 51 off 34 (one wicket) vs Narine and 35 off 20 (one wicket) vs Varun Chakravarthy in the IPL.

Key batter picks:

  • Travis Head scored two ducks against KKR last season. He was dismissed by Mitchell Starc and Vaibhav Arora. However, Head has looked in good form this season without the massive score yet, with 136 runs at an average of 45.33 and strike rate of 191.54 so far. He is still a genuine Dream11 captaincy option.
  • Ajinkya Rahane has looked in good form this season, hitting 85 runs at a strike rate of 160.37 so far. Against Mohammed Shami, Rahane has hammered 86 runs off 50 balls without dismissal.

Top all-rounder picks:

  • Abhishek Sharma averages just 16.50 in nine matches against KKR. However, he averages 40.60 with a strike rate of 159.84 in six T20s at Eden Gardens. We are waiting for him to fire, and this could be the game he gets going.

Key bowler picks:

  • Mohammed Shami has good head-to-head numbers against the KKR openers. He has dismissed Quinton de Kock three times in 36 balls (54 runs) and Sunil Narine once in six balls (0 runs).
  • Expect Varun Chakravarthy to bowl early which can bring wicket-taking opportunities. He dismissed Travis Head in the recent Champions Trophy semi-final. Also, Chakravarthy has dismissed Heinrich Klaasen three times in 37 balls in all T20s, although Klaasen has hit 69 runs.

Other Players to Consider for your Fantasy Cricket Teams

  • Sunil Narine is always worth considering for Dream11, but he has poor head-to-head numbers against SRH. He averages 9.64 with the bat and has taken 14 wickets in 25 matches at an average of 44.86.
  • Angrish Raghuvanshi has looked in really good touch without making the big score yet. The right-hander has scored 30, 22* and 26 so far in IPL 2025. Worth a pick.
  • Harshal Patel will be key at the death. His slower balls can come in handy if the Eden Gardens pitch is on the slower side. He has dismissed Andre Russell twice in 26 balls (35 runs).
  • Ishan Kishan vs KKR: 9 inns, 257 runs, avg. 28.56, SR 154.82.
  • Andre Russell bowled for the first time this season against MI. This was because KKR needed to bring Pandey in as impact player. Also, Russell has scored just 586 runs in all T20s at an average of 18.9 since the end of IPL 2024.

Other Stats and Important Matchups

  • Head-to-head: Matches 28, KKR 19, SRH 9.
  • SRH win 80% of their matches when both Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma get through the powerplay. This percentage drops to 17% when they are both dismissed.
  • Andre Russell has smashed 99 off 40 balls against Mohammed Shami in the IPL (two wickets).
  • Venkatesh Iyer vs SRH: 8 inns, 148 runs, avg. 24.67, SR 138.32.
  • Aniket Verma has smashed 36 (13) and 74 (41) in his past two matches. He is worth a pick in Dream11 if SRH bat first.

RCB vs GT Dream11 Prediction Possible 11 Pitch Report – IPL 2025 14th Match

Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) will host the Gujarat Titans (GT) in the 14th match of IPL 2025. RCB are sitting pretty at the top of the table with two wins in two games. Gujarat, meanwhile, are in fourth position with a win and loss. Both sides have shown good signs, and it promises to be an exciting contest.

RCB defeated CSK by 50 runs in their last game which is a big boost to their confidence. The batters have been in good form and the bowlers have delivered as a unit. Virat Kohli, Phil Salt and Rajat Patidar will be the key batters for the hosts in this game.  Liam Livingstone’s form with the bat will be a concern and the team management would like to see Jitesh Sharma score some runs as well. Tim David showed his hitting prowess in the last game.

Josh Hazlewood has been exceptional and will be crucial against GT’s strong top three. Bhuvneshwar Kumar looked in good rhythm, and will also be key up top especially. Yash Dayal has been in good form as well.

On the other hand, GT registered a dominating 36-run win over the Mumbai Indians. Their batters have been in good form, especially the top three but there is still plenty of room for improvement. Shubman Gill has made starts but failed to convert them into big scores. Sai Sudharsan and Jos Buttler have done well but the middle order has failed in the first two games.

Sherfane Rutherford has looked in decent touch but they’ll need the other batters to step up. Bowling-wise, Rashid Khan has been far from his best. Mohammed Siraj was excellent with the new ball and Prasidh Krishna in the middle overs. R Sai Kishore will be a key bowler for GT in this game.

IPL 2025 14th Match: RCB vs GT Possible Playing XIIs

RCB is expected to be unchanged.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru: 1. Phil Salt (OS), 2. Virat Kohli, 3. Devdutt Padikkal, 4. Rajat Patidar (c), 5. Liam Livingstone (OS), 6. Jitesh Sharma (wk), 7. Tim David (OS), 8. Krunal Pandya, 9. Bhuvneshwar Kumar, 10. Josh Hazlewood (OS), 11. Yash Dayal, 12. Suyash Sharma (Impact)

GT may bring in Mahipal Lomror for Shahrukh Khan.

Chinnaswamy is amongst the best batting venues in India and the batters are expected to dominate this match. Last season, there was some help for the pacers with the new ball and it should be there for this game too. Both teams have good powerplay bowlers.

New ball bowlers and batters will play a key role in this game with scores in the range of 180-200 expected.

It’s expected to be partly cloudy with no chance of rain. The temperature will be around 27 degrees Celsius at the start of the game. Humidity will be around 50-60%.

Fantasy Cricket Tips for RCB vs GT: Top Picks/Key Players to Watch

Note: Try to pick more batters and all-rounders if you are playing on Dream11. The new point system rewards the batters heavily.

Top Wicket-Keeper Picks:

  • Phil Salt has been in good touch in the first two games this season. He has looked to attack from ball one and maximise the powerplay. Salt can face some difficulties against Siraj with the new ball but he will be a top fantasy pick.
  • Jos Buttler loves playing against RCB. He scored a 58-ball hundred against them last season. Buttler has 516 runs against RCB at an average of 43 and a strike rate of 150.40 including two fifties and two centuries

Key batter picks:

  • Virat Kohli has 344 runs against GT in 5 innings at an average of 114.70 at a strike rate of 143.90 including three fifties and a hundred. Kohli is in great form at the moment and will be a top C/VC choice
  • Shubman Gill has 304 runs in 13 innings against RCB. He averages 30.40 at a strike rate of 139.40 and has scored a hundred against RCB without any fifties. A big knock is due from Gill this might be the game where he goes big.
  • Rajat Patidar will be a key batter for his side against Gujarat’s spin duo of Sai Kishore and Rashid Khan. He scored a match-winning fifty in the last game against CSK. Patidar will be a top fantasy pick.

Top all-rounder picks:

  • Liam Livingstone will be the best all-rounder pick for this game. His form with the bat is not that great but he will bat at five and will bowl a few overs as well. Livingstone needs to be cautious against Sai Kishore and Rashid Khan.

Key bowler picks:

  • Josh Hazlewood was the star for RCB in the last game against CSK. He can bowl in any phase of the game. Hazlewood is in top form and will be a must in your fantasy teams.
  • Rashid Khan has 15 wickets in 15 games against RCB. He went wicket-less against them in IPL 2024 and his current form is not that great either. But Rashid is arguably the best spinner in white ball cricket and he can pick up wickets in clusters against RCB’s potentially vulnerable middle-order.
  • R Sai Kishore will be an excellent differential pick for this game. He has been in good form this season and he will fancy his chances against RCB’s middle order. Sai Kishore can be the game changer in fantasy cricket in this game.

Other Players to Consider for Your Fantasy Cricket Team

  • Krunal Pandya will be a key bowler for RCB but he may not bowl his full quota with Sai Sudharsan, Sherfane Rutherford and possibly Mahipal Lomror in the XI for GT.
  • Mohammed Siraj returns to the M Chinnaswamy Stadium and will be keen for a big performance.
  • Devdutt Padikkal looked in excellent touch at number three in the last game vs CSK.
  • Yash Dayal
  • Prasidh Krishna
  • Bhuvneshwar Kumar

Other Matchups and Facts

  • Head to Head: Matches: 5, RCB 3, GT 2.
  • Liam Livingstone vs Rashid Khan: 45 deliveries, 70 runs, 4 dismissals.
  • Virat Kohli vs Prasidh Krishna: 34 deliveries, 56 runs, 3 dismissals.

LSG vs PBKS Dream11 Prediction Possible 11 Pitch Report – IPL 2025 13th Match

The 13th match of IPL 2025 has the makings of a classic. Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), one of the surprise packets, take on fancied Punjab Kings (PBKS) in the first match at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium this season.

LSG’s bowling attack has punched above its weight so far, performing better than expected. Shardul Thakur has been the leader, producing a superb performance in Hyderabad last week when SRH were widely expected to put on a massive score.

However, more in line with predictions has been LSG’s batting. Nicholas Pooran has been out of this world, smashing 145 runs at a strike rate of 258.92 so far. Mitchell Marsh has also looked good, but more will be expected of Aiden Markram and Rishabh Pant. On a Lucknow surface that favoured batting in the recent Women’s Premier League, LSG will aim to go big with the bat again.

PBKS will finally line up for their second game, and are seeking to join Delhi Capitals and Royal Challengers Bengaluru as the teams with two wins from two games. Shreyas Iyer started magnificently in Ahmedabad last week, while Shashank Singh sent a reminder of his brilliant finishing abilities.

While PBKS conceded 232 against Gujarat Titans, they have plenty of bowling resources. Arshdeep Singh is a factor in the crunch overs. Azmatullah Omarzai and Marco Jansen are excellent powerplay options. Yuzvendra Chahal speaks for himself, and Vijaykumar Vyshak changed the game with his yorkers. Their battle against LSG’s batting lineup will make for fascinating viewing.

In this article, we will look at the possible playing XIIs, Lucknow pitch report, fantasy cricket tips and Dream11 Prediction for the 13th match of IPL 2025.

IPL 2025 13th Match – LSG vs PBKS Possible Playing XIIs

LSG may stick with the same XII, unless they opt to replace Aiden Markram.

Lucknow Super Giants: 1. Mitchell Marsh (OS), 2. Aiden Markram (OS), 3. Nicholas Pooran (OS), 4. Rishabh Pant (c & wk), 5. Ayush Badoni, 6. David Miller (OS), 7. Abdul Samad, 8. Shardul Thakur, 9. Ravi Bishnoi, 10. Prince Yadav, 11. Avesh Khan, 12. Digvesh Rathi

PBKS may also stick with the same XII that prevailed against GT.

Punjab Kings: 1. Priyansh Arya, 2. Prabhsimran Singh (wk), 3. Shreyas Iyer (c), 4. Azmatullah Omarzai (OS), 5. Glenn Maxwell (OS), 6. Marcus Stoinis (OS), 7. Shashank Singh, 8. Suryansh Shedge, 9. Marco Jansen (OS), 10. Arshdeep Singh, 11. Yuzvendra Chahal, 12. Vijaykumar Vyshak

Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium Lucknow Pitch Report and Weather

The Lucknow tracks were tough to bat on last season, but better batting surfaces are expected in IPL 2025. In four matches in the Women’s Premier League, the average first innings score was 184.5. Teams batting first and second won two games each.

A very hot evening is forecast with temperatures in the mid-30s at start time. There is no chance of rain, but the possibility of dew may tempt the toss-winning captain to chase.

Fantasy Cricket Tips for LSG vs PBKS: Top Picks/Key Players to Watch

Top wicket-keeper picks:

  • Nicholas Pooran is a must-pick in Dream11. Since the start of 2024, Pooran has smashed 664 runs in the IPL at an average of 64.4 and strike rate of 191.7. Against spin, the strike rate bumps up to 200 in this period.

Key batter picks:

  • Shreyas Iyer is in dream form. After 243 runs at 48.60 in the recent Champions Trophy, Iyer belted 97* (42) against GT.
  • Iyer has a good head-to-head record against LSG’s key bowler, Shardul Thakur, in the IPL: 35 balls, 55 runs, one wicket.
  • Mitchell Marsh has made a great start to IPL 2025, hitting fifties in both games.

Top all-rounder picks:

  • Glenn Maxwell has a favourable matchup against Rishabh Pant (see matchups below) and has conceded just 16 runs off 16 balls against Pooran in all T20s. While Maxwell has been short of runs, he can be of good fantasy value as PBKS will look to bowl him against the left-handers. Also, he has it in him to deliver with the bat.
  • Marcus Stoinis has the third-most T20 runs on this ground (336) at an average of 30.55 and strike rate of 136.03. He also has five wickets at a strike rate of 15.60.

Key bowler picks:

  • Shardul Thakur has been one of the stories of IPL 2025 so far. Unsold in the auction, Thakur has picked up six wickets in two games after being brought in as an injury replacement for Mohsin Khan.
  • Shardul has an excellent head-to-head record against Glenn Maxwell in T20s: 34 balls, 43 runs, three wickets.
  • Arshdeep Singh is a key fantasy pick given he bowls in the powerplay and death overs. Since the start of last season, Arshdeep has taken 21 IPL wickets, with 11 coming between overs 16-20.

Other Players to Consider for your Fantasy Cricket Teams

  • Priyansh Arya made a superb start to the IPL season, smashing a 23-ball 47 last week against GT.
  • Rishabh Pant has started the season in slow fashion, scoring just 15 runs off 21 balls so far. However, he can fire on his day. He has a strike rate of 140.7 in the IPL against Yuzvendra Chahal.
  • Shashank Singh can be a strong differential pick. He is an excellent finisher, notching up 398 IPL runs at a strike rate of 172.3 in 15 innings since the start of IPL 2024.
  • Yuzvendra Chahal has picked up 47 wickets in the middle overs since the start of IPL 2022. He has a good matchup against Mitch Marsh (11 balls, 12 runs, one wicket).
  • Aiden Markram has had a poor start to the season. But, Markram is the kind of player who can fire on his day. He is worth a pick in some fantasy cricket leagues, although Shardul Thakur has enjoyed some success against him: 14 balls, 16 wickets, one wicket.
  • Azmatullah Omarzai is an excellent swing bowler in the powerplay. He can test Markram and Marsh up top with any movement.

Other Stats and Important Matchups

  • Head-to-head: Matches 4, LSG 3, PBKS 1.
  • Ravi Bishnoi’s T20 record at this ground: 13 inns, 15 wickets, avg. 22.67, SR 17.80.
  • Arshdeep Singh vs Nicholas Pooran in the IPL: 25 balls, 43 runs, one wicket.
  • Yuzvendra Chahal vs Nicholas Pooran in all T20s: 76 balls, 127 runs, one wicket.
  • PBKS could look to introduce Glenn Maxwell early to Rishabh Pant: 12 balls, 11 runs, two wickets.
  • Shardul Thakur vs Marcus Stoinis in the IPL: 22 balls, 38 runs, two wickets.
  • Arshdeep Singh vs David Miller in all T20s: 28 balls, 44 runs, one wicket.
  • Arshdeep Singh vs Mitch Marsh in all T20s: 16 balls, 39 runs, one wicket.

IPL 2025 Viewership breaks ratings record on opening weekend, what’s next?

The 18th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) kicked off on March 22, and things are looking up for the whole tournament in terms of viewership. JioCinema recorded a 40% increase in digital viewership compared to last season, driven by a 54% surge in Connected TV (CTV) consumption. They also reported that the opening weekend had 137 crore views with peak concurrency reaching 3.4 crore viewers.

Aside from digital streaming, TV viewership on Star Sports also grew on the opening weekend with 25.3 crore viewers and 2,770 crores watch time minutes. That said, IPL 2025 viewership rating for the first three matches was up by an average of 39%.

What this Rise in IPL 2025 Viewership Entails

This good news is welcomed by JioStar CEO Sanjog Gupta. Speaking with Bomay Sport Exchange (BSE), he talked about what this growth entails. “Since 2018, which is when we acquired the rights to IPL for Star at that time, on television viewership, it has grown close to 40%.” He further explains, “For an evolved, mature property that the IPL already was in 2018, to grow as significantly as that shows two things.

“One, that the property always had the immense potential to go from where it was to unseen heights. Two, it shows the potential of this market and the immense headroom for growth that the market has if you are willing to reimagine the possibilities.”

Gupta said that this is always what they’re aiming to do, and has been the goal of the merger between Disney+ Hotstar and JioCinema. They hope to continue the growth trajectory and reach a billion viewers this year across different platforms (TV, mobile, and other connected devices).

He also highlighted an important factor shaping digital growth, and pointed out that if India has about 250-270 million households, only about 150-260 million currently have a living room device where they can watch [the matches]. That’s the headroom for growth for all living room devices.”

Other Impact of Increase in Viewership

Kiran Mani, JioStar’s digital chief, also shared his thoughts on the record-breaking viewership increase for IPL 2025. According to him, the IPL is setting a new benchmark for how India engages with live sports and entertainment at an unmatched scale. He explained that the opening weekend showcased how innovation in cricket and its accessibility can create richer, more interactive experiences that allow fans to connect with the game like never before.

This is true since, aside from streaming and watching the matches live on TV, bookmakers have also recognised this growing audience base as an opportunity. Blask has released a report that there is also an increase in player interest and market activity that includes the betting sector.

Aside from that, GR8 Tech, an iGaming solutions provider, has recently spoken about how IPL is still the biggest betting event of the year. Their Head of Sport Product, Vlad Andrusenko, spoke with SBC News about this and said that the increase in coverage just drives engagement, and that has so far led to a 30-40% increase in revenue for their clients.

Andrusenko also said they have also noticed that the biggest traffic spikes in IPL betting are usually when favorite teams like Chennai Super Kings, Royal Challengers Bangalore, and Mumbai Indians compete, especially against each other.

How Matches Also Impact Viewers’ Interest

Gupta also touched upon the broader impact of cricket’s marquee rivalries in driving viewership engagement. Reflecting on the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, he noted its success in the 2024-25 season, with record-breaking viewership for the five-Test series. According to Gupta, the fierce rivalry between India and Australia continues to thrive due to its competitive intensity instead of the match formats.

He said that the Border-Gavaskar Trophy or the rivalry between India and Australia only comes second to the rivalry between India and Pakistan. However, even if India-Australia rivalry may not have the cultural or historic significance that the India-Pakistan rivalry has, it’s still up there.

So Don’t Miss Out on IPL 2025

The 2025 IPL will run until May 25, 2025, and the tournament is only over a week in. There will be a total of 74 matches that fans can stream live on JioStar and watch on channels like Sky Sports and Fox Cricket. It’s also worth noting that JioStar has recently launched a new streaming feature. Fans can now scan a QR code while watching IPL live to see a match’s key highlights to make viewing more immersive.

MI vs KKR Dream11 Prediction Possible 11 Pitch Report – IPL 2025 12th Match

Mumbai Indians (MI) will lock horns against the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the 12th match of IPL 2025. This will be the first game of this season at the Wankhede Stadium. Historically, this has been the most one-sided clash in IPL history, with MI dominating KKR.

However, it won’t be easy for them in this game, especially given their horrendous form dating back to last season.

MI lost their last game against Gujarat Titans by 36 runs. It was a strange chase from MI’s perspective as they looked in control at one point but suddenly looked way behind. Suryakumar Yadav (48 runs) was the only batter who looked in good touch as the team underwhelmed yet again.

Deepak Chahar and Trent Boult shall enjoy the conditions at the Wankhede and they will be looking to take out KKR’s top order quite cheaply. Given MI have now lost both their games, they need a big performance in all facets of the game.

KKR, meanwhile, are coming off a good win against the Rajasthan Royals in their last match. Quinton de Kock’s 97* helped them win the game quite convincingly by eight wickets. However, de Kock must be careful in this game against Chahar and especially Boult. Ajinkya Rahane has a good record at the Wankhede and Venkatesh Iyer loves playing against MI.

Sunil Narine is expected to be available for this game. Harshit Rana has been impressive as well and Vaibhav Arora will enjoy the conditions at Wankhede. Rinku Singh and Andre Russell are yet to fire for KKR and can do so here.

In this article, we will look at the possible XIIs, Wankhede Mumbai pitch report, fantasy cricket tips and Dream11 Prediction for the 12th match of IPL 2025.

IPL 2025 12th Match: MI vs KKR Possible Playing XIIs

Will Jacks is expected to play this game for MI. They can also look to get Bevon Jacobs in the XI for Mitchell Santner.

Mumbai Indians: 1. Rohit Sharma, 2. Ryan Rickelton (OS, wk), 3. Will Jacks (OS), 4. Suryakumar Yadav, 5. Tilak Varma, 6. Hardik Pandya (c), 7. Naman Dhir, 8. Mitchell Santner (OS), 9. Deepak Chahar, 10. Trent Boult (OS), 11. Satyanarayana Raju, 12. Robin Minz/Vignesh Puthur (Impact)

Sunil Narine should replace Moeen Ali in the XI for KKR.

Kolkata Knight Riders: 1. Quinton de Kock (OS, wk), 2. Sunil Narine (OS), 3. Ajinkya Rahane (c), 4. Venkatesh Iyer, 5. Angkrish Raghuvanshi, 6. Rinku Singh, 7. Andre Russell (OS), 8. Ramandeep Singh, 9. Harshit Rana, 10. Spencer Johnson (OS), 11. Varun Chakaravarthy 12. Vaibhav Arora (Impact)

Wankhede Stadium Mumbai Pitch Report and Weather

Wankhede has had plenty of movement on offer for the pacers with the new ball and then it gets better to bat on, especially with the dew factor in the latter half. It’s expected to be similar for this match as well. Middle-order batters and new ball bowlers should dominate this game. Opening batters will be in for a big score if they survive the new ball burst.

Scores in the range of 200-220 are expected with teams preferring to chase if they win the toss. Dew is expected in this game.

The weather will be clear with no chance of rain. The temperature will be around 32 degrees Celsius at the start of the match.

Fantasy Cricket Tips for MI vs KKR: Players to Watch/Key Stats

Note: Try to pick more batters and all-rounders if you are playing on Dream11. The new point system rewards the batters heavily.

Top Wicket-Keeper Picks:

  • Quinton de Kock scored 97* in the last game but he will face serious threats against Trent Boult and Deepak Chahar (see matchups below) with the new ball. De Kock can score big but his record against MI is average too: 211 runs in 10 games at an average of 23.40 and strike rate of 120 with only one fifty.
  • Ryan Rickelton is yet to fire in the IPL and he will face some issues against Vaibhav Arora but he’s been in good touch lately and will be a good fantasy pick.

Key batter picks:

  • Suryakumar Yadav has 447 runs against KKR in 12 innings at an average of 40.60 and strike rate of 146.10 with four fifties. He has been in good touch in the first two games and a big knock feels around the corner for him, especially while chasing.
  • Ajinkya Rahane too has had his struggles against Boult and Chahar but he knows the conditions well and will be a key batter for KKR. Rahane showed his class in the first game and will look to lead from the front in this one.
  • Venkatesh Iyer averages 72.40 against Mumbai Indians at a strike rate of 165.30 in six innings. His 362 runs includes three fifties. He loves playing against MI and will be an important player for his side.

Top all-rounder picks:

  • Sunil Narine also struggles against Trent Boult and other MI bowlers as well. He averages only 5.60 against MI in 13 innings for his 62 runs. He has 31 wickets against them in 25 innings. Narine will be a good pick but you can avoid making him C/VC in this game.
  • Andre Russell is yet to bowl this season after two games. He didn’t get to bat in the last match. Russell’s value has certainly gone down but despite that, he will be a strong fantasy pick.
  • Hardik Pandya has 395 runs in 14 innings at an average of 43.90 and strike rate of 166 against KKR. He has three fifties. Pandya will be a key player for MI with both bat and ball. He has 13 wickets against them as well. He will be a good C/VC pick.

Key bowler picks:

  • Varun Chakaravarthy has nine wickets in eight games against MI. He won’t get much assistance off the deck in this game but he will fancy his chances against MI’s middle order.
  • Trent Boult has 13 wickets in 10 games against KKR. He has positive matchups against many of the KKR batters and can go through their batting line-up if there is help with the new ball.
  • Deepak Chahar has 11 wickets in nine games against KKR. He will also enjoy the conditions at the Wankhede Stadium and can shake KKR’s top order.

Other Players to Consider for Your Fantasy Cricket Team

  • Rohit Sharma has 1070 runs in 33 innings against KKR at an average of 41.20 and has struck at 128.10. Rohit has struggled badly in the first two games of IPL 2025 and will be eager to do well in this match.
  • Tilak Varma
  • Vaibhav Arora
  • Harshit Rana (Bowling first)
  • Angkrish Raghuvanshi

Other Stats and Matchups

  • Head-to-head: Matches 34, MI 23, KKR 11.
  • KKR have won five of the last six matches against MI, including both last season.
  • Sunil Narine vs Trent Boult: 21 deliveries, 30 runs, 4 dismissals.
  • Sunil Narine vs Mujeeb ur Rahman: 33 deliveries, 36 runs, 4 dismissals.
  • Quinton de Kock vs Trent Boult: 59 deliveries, 69 runs, 6 dismissals.
  • Quinton de Kock vs Deepak Chahar: 86 deliveries, 109 runs, 4 dismissals.
  • Ajinkya Rahane vs Trent Boult: 36 deliveries, 35 runs, 3 dismissals.
  • Rohit Sharma vs Sunil Narine: 142 deliveries, 147 runs, 9 dismissals.
  • Suryakumar Yadav vs Andre Russell: 27 deliveries, 50 runs, 4 dismissals.
  • Hardik Pandya vs Andre Russell: 23 deliveries, 35 runs, 2 dismissals.
  • Spencer Johnson will be a key bowler to Rohit Sharma given the latter’s struggles against left-arm pace.

IPL 2025 12th Match: MI vs KKR Match Prediction: Who will win?

Kolkata Knight Riders’ middle order has looked out of touch this season. MI’s new ball attack can expose KKR’s middle order quite quickly in this game. Mumbai, on the other hand, looked rusty in the last game with the bat. But they will start as the favourites for this game. Mumbai Indians to win.

“We are extremely grateful for the cooperation and support of all our government, venue, broadcast and commercial partners who ensure Australia’s national sport continues to deliver brilliant experiences in stadiums and drive participation across the country.”

3 changes CSK should make to their playing XII in IPL 2025

One win and one loss to start a long IPL season is not cause for panic. However, Chennai Super Kings’ (CSK) 50-run defeat to Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) exposed some of their shortcomings. While they are a good side on paper, CSK’s middle order came for questioning ahead of the season, with concerns around whether they have enough power. Chasing 197 against RCB, they were never in the hunt.

Of course, the loss of powerplay wickets hurt dearly. A quick start from the likes of Ruturaj Gaikwad would have served them well. However, CSK’s playing XII has some gaps. Here is an opportunity for CSK to think proactively to kickstart their campaign and ensure they are not left with too much to do in the second half of the season.

Key changes CSK should make to their playing XII to kickstart their IPL 2025 campaign

In this article, we will look at three changes CSK should make that can give them an edge.

1. Jamie Overton for Sam Curran

Sam Curran has made a slow start to IPL 2025. While he has performed well in the past, Curran’s all-round game currently lacks the impact required to elevate CSK to another level in the crunch overs.

Curran has bowled four wicketless overs for 47 runs. Worse, the all-rounder has scored 12 runs off 22 balls across CSK’s first two games in the crucial middle order where impact is the name of the game.

If CSK do replace Curran, they have the option of bringing Devon Conway to the top of the order. While that is a feasible option to improve the batting lineup, it is the middle order that requires more attention.

Jamie Overton could provide the impact CSK need. In all T20s since the start of 2022, Overton has struck 885 runs at a strike rate of 156.1, compared to Curran’s 132.1. He has also struck every 16.1 deliveries with the ball in this period, offering CSK more a wicket-taking threat despite the fact he could go for runs as well.

2. Shaik Rasheed for Deepak Hooda

It just isn’t happening for Deepak Hooda. Over the past two seasons, Hooda is averaging just 11.2 with the bat with a strike rate of 112.9.

CSK have a choice here. They can either persist with the struggling Hooda or give the promising Shaik Rasheed a chance. Rasheed has been part of the CSK system since 2023, and although he has just 17 T20s of experience, his inclusion can be a breath of fresh air.

Also, CSK would be better served bringing Rasheed in now to enable him to settle into the team rather than later in the season where the pressure would be higher.

3. Ruturaj Gaikwad to opener, Rahul Tripathi to 3

Rahul Tripathi is also a player on notice following a poor start to IPL 2025. Selected as opener, Tripathi has managed just 2 (3) and 5 (3) so far.

With some middle order concerns, CSK need the best start possible. Ruturaj Gaikwad has done his best work in the IPL as opener, hitting 2,289 runs at an average of 44.02 and strike rate of 136.90.

The Gaikwad-Rachin Ravindra opening partnership can be a key strength for CSK. They were excellent in their 67-run stand in 6.1 overs against Mumbai Indians in their season opener. Such a start can hold them in good stead going forward.

So, there are three changes I think CSK should make in the IPL 2025 season. What do you think? Let us know in the comments or by tweeting @cric_blog.
